Your entire body is controlled by your brain (orange ball in the image). Your spinal cord is a continuation of your brain and helps relay messages to and from your ENTIRE body. Without your cord - your body will not function at all. Think Christopher Reeves.
Your neck bones and back bones protect your entire cord. If your neck and back are stressed- you may be hurting your entire nervous system. A stressed nervous system is what contributes to you getting sick, living with pain, hormone imbalances, weakness, depression, etc... When you think about it- what are symptoms of a stressed nervous system?
The Story Goes On...
Your neck and back are comprised of 24 moveable bones that can and do misalign throughout life. Spinal misalignments, often times unrecognized, can create problems physically, mentally, emotionally. We can live with them, but life is just not the same. When a spinal misalignment places pressure on your nervous system and interferes with your life it is called a vertebral subluxation. I say interfere with life - because we live our lives through our brain and nervous system.
We live our lives through our nervous systems. We see, think, hear, taste, feel, smell, digest, and create all through our nervous system. If this system is stressed how are all these other bodily functions working? Probably not they way they should...
What do we do?
My job is to assess the segments of your spine for vertebral subluxations that place pressure to your nervous system and interfere with your life. Once located and corrected you can expect better health and therefore a better LIFE.
I have seen patients improve with all sorts of issues ranging from TMJ/Jaw issues, Fibromyaglia, Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, Headaches/Migraines, IBS, Eczema, Allergies, Ear Pain, and even worts. Oh, and back pain, neck pain, and headaches - those almost always resolve.
I did not provide treatements for any of these indiviual issues. I specifically corrected the vertebral subluxation which allowed their body to heal more efficiently and effectively. When you are living life with less nervous system stress, life always gets better.
It is a law, and happens no other way!
